LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ Students are being led out of a Kentucky high school after a report of weapons seen on campus.

Television stations in Louisville showed lines of students from Fern Creek Traditional High School leaving the buildings and being escorted by police to a nearby softball field Tuesday afternoon.

Police cars surrounded the 91-year-old school in the southern part of the city.

Messages left by The Associated Press for a spokesman for Jefferson County Public Schools, Louisville Metro Police and MetroSafe, the city’s emergency management department, were not immediately returned.
