Troy police investigating jewelry store robbery

TROY, MO (KTVI) – The Troy Police Department is investigating a jewelry store robbery that occurred Tuesday late afternoon. Two men walked into the Lincoln County Jewelry asking to see a case of 10 diamond earrings. One of the men grabbed the case and both men exited the store.

The two men fled to a waiting car with two other men in the vehicle, fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.

The case of earrings estimated value is $13,600.

Police say the suspect’s vehicle is a gold Chevrolet Malibu last seen going south on US 61.

Police believe the suspects may have committed a similar crime in Columbia, Missouri.
