ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis was a very busy city Saturday as Cardinal fans flocked to downtown for the first game of the NLCS between the Cardinals and the Giants. The game marked the second time in two years the two teams have meet in post season play for the right to go to the World Series.

While just up the street Blues fans were treated to a preseason win over the Calgary Flames 4-1. Once the Blues game was over, fans walked down to Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village to catch the Cardinals game.

Space became a premium as Blues fans streamed into Ballpark Village, with fans standing shoulder to shoulder to watched the game on the giant TV screen.
