BALTIMORE (AP) _ The Kansas City Royals will head home with a two-games-to-none lead in the American League Championship Series after winning in their final at-bat for the second straight night, and fifth time in the postseason.

Alcides Escobar sparked a two-run ninth as the Royals downed the Orioles 6-4 in Baltimore. Escobar supplied a tiebreaking, RBI double before scoring on Lorenzo Cain’s single.

Cain went 4-for-5 with two runs scored for the Royals, who are 6-0 in the playoffs and own a nine-game postseason win streak since the 1985 World Series. Eric Hosmer chipped in a two-run single and George Moustakas homered to help Kansas City improve to 4-0 on the road this month.

The Orioles erased deficits of 3-1 and 4-3 before falling. Adam Jones hit a two-run homer for the Birds.
