Man found guilty of murdering Ebony Jackson

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- The verdict is in regarding a murder case that made headlines in 2013. Dyanthany Proudie, 42, was found guilty of first degree murder and armed criminal action that resulted in the death of Ebony Jackson.

Prosecutors say Proudie shot Jackson in the head, then put her body in the trunk of her car.

He left the car abandoned in north St. Louis.

Jackson’s body was found several days after her three-month old son was left alone inside of a breezeway at a Breckenridge Hills apartment complex.

Proudie’s estranged wife was a resident.

His sentencing is scheduled for December 5th.
