ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-St. Louis city homicide detectives are investigating a shooting death on Linton Avenue near 21st Street on the city’s north side. Police say the victim, a 35-year-old man, was found shot in the head on the back porch of the home around 8:30pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say there is no suspect or motive at this time.
Earlier Friday, police responded to a call of shot fired in the 5800 block of Maffitt, also in north St. Louis. They found 32-year old Clifford Boston unconscious and shot in the stomach. He was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation showed that the shooting occurred around 12:30pm in a rear alley in the 2700 block of Goodfellow, less than a mile away.
There is no suspect information at this time.
