CRESTWOOD, MO (KTVI)-They are swinging for the fences in Crestwood. A group of ten players from around the St. Louis region is 21 hours into what they hope will be the longest wiffle ball game in the history of mankind before it's all said and done.

By Sunday morning, the players were running on pure adrenaline. The group started playing around 9:00am Saturday at the All Star Performance Center at Big Bend and I-44. They plan to play through 3:00pm Sunday, playing wiffle ball for 30 consecutive hours.

The game isn't just for posterity. They’re also raising money and collecting canned food and other non-perishable items for Operation Food Search.

They are looking for your help too. They need independent witnesses to sign off and verify everything is above board for Guinness World Records. If you come out to watch, you are asked to bring donations for that Operation Food Search collection.
