Zella Mae Cox passes away at 84-years-old

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Zella Mae Cox passed away on Tuesday.   She was half of the long-time St. Louis Country Gospel duo, Slim and Zella Mae. The pair were fixtures on a weekly TV and radio show.

They also ran a furniture store on Chippewa street where customers could pick up a chair and some of that old time religion.

Slim passed away two years ago.
