Allen & Blues Shut out Ducks 2-0

Jake Allen stopped all 24 shots he faced as the Blues shutout the Ducks 2-0 on Thursday night at Scottrade Center. Alexander Steen scored on a deflection in the first period to give St. Louis the 1-0 lead. Ryan Reaves scored his second goal in the last three games to give the Blues the insurance score and a 2-0 lead. It’s the Blues third straight win. They played the game without star players David Backes, T. J. Oshie and Paul Stastny. All three missed the game with injuries.
