St. Louis man charged in fatal 2013 crash

ST. LOUIS (AP) _ A St. Louis man who police say caused a fatal wreck last year has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crash.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports ( ) 37-year-old Mikal Felton was charged this week but wasn’t in custody Wednesday.

Police say Felton was driving an SUV with two passengers when he collided with a car in November 2013. They say the passenger in the front seat of the SUV died at the scene and the other was seriously injured. Three people in the car suffered minor injuries.

Police say Felton fled the scene of the crash and was later arrested at an area hospital.

It wasn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney.
