ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A call for more diversity among municipal judges and prosecutors in St. Louis City and County.

The group Better Together issued a new report calling for changes in how municipal courts are staffed. The group says the current lack of diversity creates mistrust especially in areas that are mostly African American and poor.  Of the 54 municipal judges, only 5 are black and 7 female.  only 6 prosecutors in St. Louis County municipalities are black and 9 are female.
