ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -  A life skills lesson for students with special needs was cut short at the Chesterfield Mall.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports 17 Fort Zumwalt North High School students were not allowed into the Bath And Body Works store at the  mall Thursday.

The school principal told the post, while they were welcomed in other stores. But, they were told not to come into the Bath And Body Works.

An employee was apparently worried the classes would hurt their sales percentage since they weren't buying items.

A Teacher did receive an apology from the regional manager. We have reached out  but have not received a response.

There has been a very active campaign on Facebook to boycott the store.
