Veterans to be honored Saturday in St. Louis

(KTVI)- Veteran's Day is Tuesday, but military men and women will be honored Saturday with a ceremony and parade in downtown St. Louis. The ceremony will take place at Soldier’s Memorial Plaza followed by the parade through the streets of St. Louis.  This year's theme is "Heroes Remembered: Celebrating 250 years as a city and honoring all who served".

The celebration begins at 10:00am with the USAF Band of Mid-America playing patriotic music followed by the Veterans Day Ceremony at 10:30am. A “Massing of the Colors” formation will lead the parade which begins at noon from Tucker and Chestnut, west on Chestnut to 14th Street, south on 14th Street to Market, west on Market to St. Louis Union Station at 20th Street.
