BRENTWOOD, MO (AP) – A prominent St. Louis defense attorney charged with driving while intoxicated after an April car crash in Brentwood has pleaded guilty to lesser charges in municipal court.

Scott Rosenblum was arrested after crashing his 2013 Bentley head-on into a pickup truck hours after winning an acquittal for a client accused of molesting a child at a Clayton hotel while drunk.

Rosenblum said at the time that he was tired from working long hours, not intoxicated. The driver of the pickup was not seriously injured. The accident occurred after midnight.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch  reports that the lawyer pleaded guilty Monday to careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident and improper lane usage. He must serve two years of probation, complete community service and take traffic safety training.
