Webster University to close 3 campuses, St. Louis campus safe

WEBSTER GROVES, MO (KTVI)-Declining enrollment is causing Webster University to close three of its campuses worldwide. University officials haven’t announced which campuses will close pending notification of employees.

In a letter to faculty and staff, the university president outlined the financial realities that include a revenue shortfall of more than $12 million next year.

The Webster Groves campus is not in jeopardy of closing. Webster operates 80 campuses worldwide, including 71 in the U.S.
