(KTVI)- Public classes at L'Ecole Culinaire will teach you how to make the perfect pie, even if you are not an aspiring chef. Instructor Chef Susie Judy showed us simple tips to make our pies delicious enough to impress your entire family this holiday season.
She suggested you:
1. Cover the edges of the pie with foil to prevent burning.
2. Read the entire recipe first to ensure you have all the ingredients you need, before you begin.
3. If making dough from scratch, do not over-handle the dough
4. Use cold ingredients (cold butter, cold water, etc.)
