CLAYTON, MO (KTVI)-On Saturday, the city of Clayton began to take measures to secure buildings downtown. Following the County's actions, the city will be temporarily restricting traffic in the area around the St. Louis County Justice Center.

The actions are in advance of the grand jury's decision in the shooting death of teenager Michael Brown by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson.

In a news release Saturday, the city of Clayton said, “While we do not know precisely when the Grand Jury decision will be announced, we anticipate it will be relatively soon, as the Prosecuting Attorney has repeatedly said he expects the decision within the month of November. We will keep these traffic restrictions in place as long as they seem prudent, and will keep you apprised of further developments.”
