Pine Lawn places police officer on leave

PINE LAWN, MO (KTVI) – The Pine Lawn board of aldermen held an emergency meeting Saturday to consider whether to fire a high-ranking police officer.  We’re told that officer provided information to the FBI that help lead to the mayor’s indictment.

The meeting was called by Mayor Sylvester Caldwell, Who was not present at the meeting.

The officer, one of the highest ranking members of the police force was accused of infractions dating back years.

The meeting ended with officer being put o administration leave with pay.
