Demonstrators attack and set fire to police cruiser in Ferguson

FERGUSON, Mo (KTVI) –  As tensions flared between officers and demonstrators outside the Ferguson Police Department Tuesday night, a group of protesters broke off from the main protest and headed north on Florissant Road to Church Street.

Near that intersection protesters came upon a police vehicle and attacked it. The broke out the lights and attempted to turn the cruiser over. Failing that, someone threw a fire bomb at the car setting it ablaze.

Police moved in using tear gas to disperse the crowd.
