ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Protesters shut down I-44 at Grand avenue at around 9:30pm Monday.  They marched to the South Grand business district at around 10:30pm.  Some businesses had bricks thrown through windows and there were several reports of looting.

Police asked protesters to clear the streets.  They used tear gas to remove demonstrators. Afterwards, police told demonstrators to move out of Mokabe's coffee shop at the intersection of Arsenal and Grand.  The business was being used as a sanctuary during the protests after the grand jury decision.
