ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – As night fell across St. Louis, many after work Wednesday still had to do some shopping for Thanksgiving.

Some of those shoppers outsourced the tradition of a Thanksgiving turkey to Kenrick’s Meats & Catering.

Kenrick’s closed at 7 pm today, and at last count they had done around 1,900 orders for Thanksgiving.

Kendrick’s started 40 years ago in St Louis, basting turkeys in a room the size of a closet. They never thought people would rely on someone else to do their home cooking.
