ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -  You might think pensions are a thing of the past, but some larger companies still offer them. Sometimes, they offer what's called a lump sum pension payout to certain employees.

Matt Allgeyer from Wamhoff Planning and accounting Services helps us understand what that means and what you should do if you have the option of taking a payout.
