FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) _ The Ferguson street that was the site of significant damage during protests this week will reopen, but during daylight hours only.

St. Louis County police announced Friday that West Florissant Road between Chambers and Lucas and Hunt will open at 1 p.m. But the stretch of road will close at 5 p.m. daily, reopening at 7 a.m. Only residents who live within the area will be allowed in during the nighttime and early-morning hours.

The section of West Florissant is near the site where Michael Brown was fatally shot by Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9. A grand jury decision not to indict Wilson was announced Monday night, spurring violent protests that included the burning of several businesses.
