ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - On Saturday,  nearly 1,000 teenagers from across the Midwest marched through downtown St. Louis for peace after the unrest in Ferguson. The teens were in town for their annual Latin Midwest Youth Convention and prayed for the people of Ferguson.

At the same time,  a group from local churches in south St. Louis held signs and chanted at the corner of Chippewa and Hampton Avenue calling for peace and justice.
