BONNE TERRE, Mo. (AP) _ A 25-year-old man is charged with running over a woman with a stolen pickup truck in eastern Missouri.

Kyle Cain, of Potosi, was charged this week with first-degree assault and tampering with a motor vehicle. The Daily Journal in Park Hills ( reports that bond is set at $165,000. No attorney is listed for Cain in online records.

The charges stem from an incident Saturday night outside a bar near Bonne Terre. Court records say that when St. Francois County deputies responded, a woman had tire marks on her back and was flown to a hospital with a spine fracture.

Cain was in a truck that had knocked over one motorcycle and was on top of another. Court records say he told deputies, “I guess I one upped her tonight.”
