(KTVI)- Science and theater are combining for a unique experience this weekend at the Sheldon Concert Hall. It's called Brain Works: Your Mind on Life.

This experience explains our brains and how they function through life's love and pain.

Two of the nation`s top Neurosurgeon-Scientists, narrate this experience.

Washington University Neurosurgeons at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Dr. Albert Kim and Dr. Eric Leuthardt join us with more.

The Brain Works event for Friday, December 5th, sold out in less than two weeks. Due to popular demand, a second performance was added for the following night. It will be held on Saturday, December 6th.

All proceeds from ticket sales go to a fund that supports life-saving brain tumor research.
