Police investigating whether man will face charges after hitting protesters with car

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Two protesters were hit by a car last night in the Central West End. Now, St. Louis police are looking into whether the driver will be charged.

Police say a group of protesters surrounded a man's car and started hitting and throwing things at it. The man tried to get out of the intersection and hit two men in the process. They suffered minor injuries.

Police took the driver into custody because he took out a gun, but he was released. Police are investigating to determine if charges will be filed.
