Hillsboro welcomes home soldiers serving in Afghanistan

HILLSBORO, MO (KTVI) - Families, friends and supporter gathered at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Saturday,  to welcome home the Missouri National Guard's 220th engineer company.

The soldiers have been serving in Afghanistan since April.  Their mission included the closure or transfer of several bases.  The engineers deconstructed more than 80,000 square feet of military structures and removed 2,000 concrete barrier walls.
