ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – The group Missourians organizing for reform and empowerment went to Judge Maura McShane’s neighborhood Sunday.

McShane has been involved committee meetings seeking to reform municipal court procedures and alternatives to fines for citizens unable to pay court cost.

Organizers delivered a letter to her house, calling for her to appoint a special prosecutor in a new case against Darren Wilson for the shooting death of Michael Brown.

The group also knocked on doors in the neighborhood to ask McShane`s neighbors to sign letters addressing the judge.

They also want McShane to reform the municipal court system.
