(KTVI)-These are not your traditional holiday bell ringers. Volunteers from the 501st Legion stood outside a grocery store in Vancouver, WA on Sunday ringing bells for the Salvation Army.

The Star Wars fans were dressed up as Han Solo, storm troopers, and other popular characters from the popular movie series. The costumes draw a lot of attention, which helps bring in donations for families in need.

FOX 2 and KPLR 11 are proud to support  The Salvation Army Tree of Lights campaign here in St. Louis. The Force will be strong with you if you donate to our Virtual Red Kettles.
