BELLEVILLE, IL (KTVI) – The vote over the future of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital has been put on hold.

St. Elizabeth’s Request for a delay has been granted by the Illinois health facilities and service review board. The hospital president asked that Tuesday’s vote be delayed because only five of the eight board members would be in attendance for the important decision.

The hospital needs a certificate from the board to replace the old hospital with a new location in O’Fallon, Illinois.
