The indictment returned by a federal grand jury in East St. Louis accuses Dakota Moss of Centralia with stealing firearms from a federal firearms licensee. He's also charged with carrying a firearm during a violent crime, possessing a stolen firearm and being a felon with a firearm.
The indictment replaces an earlier criminal complaint that had accused him of the same four felonies.
Authorities say all but two of the 39 firearms stolen from the Centralia business have been recovered.
One of Moss' public defenders, Dan Cronin, declined to discuss the case Thursday.
Moss remains jailed without bond.
