Power outages cause school cancellations

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- St. Louis Public Schools cancelled classes at several schools Thursday morning due to power outages overnight. Metro High School, Beaumont High School and Clyde C. Miller High Schools are closed. Officials say those students will make up the day on Friday, December 19th.

Students who attend Dunbar Elementary School and Carver Elementary will be routed to Columbia Elementary School today. The  buses that service those children will be re-routed.  Students who walk or are dropped off by the regular start time for Dunbar and Carver will be transported to Columbia.

Parents are being directed to pick up their child/children at Columbia Elementary School.
