(KTVI)- St. Louis County Animal Control officers want to give all homeless pets a tasty holiday with donated KONG toys. A KONG toy is a plastic bowl with a narrow top. Owners put peanut butter inside and let dogs chew on the KONG for the tasty treat. It can keep pets busy for hours.

The St. Louis Pet Adoption Center is holing a toy drive to make sure every dog has a Christmas KONG in their kennels. They are also looking for a forever home for each pet.
