Police investigating abduction of teen girl near Jennings

JENNINGS, MO (KTVI)- Police are investigating an abduction of a 15-year-old girl near Jennings. The teen says a man abducted her near her school bus stop around 3:30p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Highway 367 and Jennings Station Road. She told authorities that she was able to escape unharmed, but not before the man cut her clothes off with a knife. She says the man pulled her into a van and drove her to a nearby cemetery.

That’s when she says the man used the knife to cut off her clothes. She says she was able to escape and wasn’t hurt. The teen was found around 4:30p.m.that afternoon.

She also says the same man briefly approached her Wednesday afternoon at the bus stop.

The St. Louis County Police department is investigating the incident. At this point they have not released a detailed description of the suspect or the van.
