Roger Goodell: No NFL team to move to L.A. in 2015

(KTVI)- ESPN is reporting that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has told the St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders that there will not be a team that moves to Los Angeles for next season.  Citing league sources, the sports network reports that Goodell also said that any team that is considering relocating to L.A. should look to 2016.

The Rams, Chargers, and Raiders can still file a relocation application for the 2015 season starting Jan. 1. But those applications would not have the league’s support.

The Chargers have announced that they are going to be staying in San Diego and will not exercise their right to terminate their lease at Qualcomm Stadium.
