Salvation Army gets the gift of bling

FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI) – The Salvation Army received a big donation in one of their red kettles Wednesday.

An anonymous donor dropped off a diamond ring at the Dierbergs in Florissant.

The half carat pear shaped diamond ring was wrapped in an appraisal letter with a note scrawled on the back stating: “for the feast of Stephen.”

The ring has been appraised at $1,400 dollars.
