ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis’s 250th birthday celebration is now over. But, the fiberglass cakes that were placed around the region will live on.
Dozens of them were put up for auction this month. The auction ended at midnight and they raised more than $50,000 for the 1764 Society and the development of Founders Plaza.
The cake placed at the Anheuser Busch Brewery brought in the most money, more than $1,500.
