Possible carbon monoxide leak cancels classes a St. Louis City high school

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The Northwest Academy of Law High School in the St. Louis  City School District will be dismissing at 12pm because of a possible carbon monoxide leak.

They have a boiler failure at the campus on Riverview boulevard.  The back up boiler triggered the carbon monoxide detector about a possible leak. The St. Louis Fire Department was notified and the backup boiler was shut off.

Students and staff were evacuated to the school auditorium while the fire department monitored the building`s air quality.
