Governor-elect Rauner tells supporters ‘Thank You’

MARYVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Illinois’ incoming governor swung through the Madison County Saturday. Republican Bruce Rauner has been taking a victory lap across the state, saying he’s ready to get to work solving the state’s financial crisis.  He stopped in Maryville to talk with residents at the Red Apple restaurant.

Rauner shook hands with patrons, chatted, and thanked supporters.

Governor-Elect Rauner will be sworn in Monday in Springfield.
