ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Imagine being imprisoned 10 years for a crime you didn’t commit.

Ryan Ferguson was wrongly convicted and locked away for the murder of a Columbia, Missouri newspaper editor. While in prison, Ferguson had to do something to preserve his mind and body while holding out hope for his appeals, so he developed a health and fitness plan to stay sharp.

Since his exoneration in November 2013, Ferguson completed a health and fitness book, Stronger, Faster, Smarter: A Guide to Your Most Powerful Body.

Ryan Ferguson talks with Randi Naughton about not only developing his workout regimen in prison, but his work advocating for the wrongly accused.
