MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)- Metro Academic and Classical High School students warm up for their Junior - Senior trivia night by taking on Metro grad Kim Hudson.

Class parties and graduation parties are expensive. But, the kids at Metro are ready to work hard for the dough. They are hosting a trivia night that will raise funds for a well-deserved shin-dig.

Metro is a college-prep St. Louis Public School with an open campus. That means students do not need to be in the building unless they have class. Teachers believe this helps students develop the discipline necessary to make it to each college class.

Metro also offer two diplomas: a traditional high-school diploma and the International Baccalaureate, which gives students and extra edge in college.

The best part: Metro is free to students.

Kim usually throws the fight. Not this time.
