EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI) – Last week FOX 2 told you about a wrestling club from East St. Louis that had their equipment stolen while celebrating a win that put them into the state championships.

Since that report local businesses, organizations, and John Beal Roofing have stepped in to provide financial support and equipment to the team.

Tuesday, Jimmy Williams, the owner/operator of the McDonald’s restaurant in East St. Louis is partnering up with the East St. Louis Wrestling Club for McSports Night. From 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, a percentage of the sales will be donated to the East St. Louis Wrestling Club. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to replace equipment stolen from the club so they can continue to train for the state championships.
