Tiger Woods missing tooth causes media flurry

(ITALY) – Golf superstar Tiger Woods showing up to a race for girlfriend Lindsey Vonn in Italy Monday. But the talk of the town wasn’t the event.

The golf star appearing without his front tooth, setting off a flurry of questions from the press as to why the former PGA champion had appeared sans the tooth.

Wood’s agent releasing a statement, saying:  “During a crush of photographers at the awards podium, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera surged toward the stage, turned and hit Woods in the mouth.  Woods’s tooth was knocked out by the incident.”

Race organizers say the incident was never reported.

Woods requesting extra security and a snowmobile to exit the finish area of the race as well.

Woods is scheduled to start his 2015 season in two weeks at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
