ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The Major Case Squad took into custody four individuals classified as either persons of interest or witnesses in the shooting death of Ned Booker, 28.  Booker was shot late Sunday night outside of the AMC Creve Coeur 12 Theatre.  Police believe Booker was targeted.

Wednesday's arrest came after police say a chase started in the Spanish Lake area around 7:30p.m.  Police identified a black Dodge Charger as a vehicle used in Sunday's homicide.  They identified at least one individual wanted for questioning in the case.  Officers were waiting for a search warrant when the individuals took off in the car.

Police say they tried to pull over the car but the driver sped away.  The chase ended at the intersection of Washington and Newstead in St. Louis City.   Police say a concrete barrier in the middle of the intersection forced the individuals to stop.

"We had luck on our side this evening," said St. Louis County Police Sgt. David Ryan.  "Someone was looking out for us."

Ryan said no one was injured and no property was damaged.
