NEW YORK (KTVI) – As a potentially historic winter storm bears down on the Northeast United States, a St. Louis businessman and his wife are stuck in New York City.

Because of the impending storm, over 1,000 flights have been cancelled in the northeast.

Tony Viviano, who owns and operates Viviano’s grocery store on The Hill now has to spend a few days extra in New York City. The couple was booked to leave New York Tuesday, but that now seems to be out of the question.

Viviano says he and his wife will venture out to Times Squares with no one around
