ST. LOUIS – You know spring is right around the corner when we start talking about the 22nd annual Beggin Pet Parade in Soulard, a great time for pets and their families benefitting the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Rick Swesen, assistant brand manager at Nestle-Purina, and Tracy Quackenbush, a spokeswoman for Open Door Animal Sanctuary, visit Fox 2 News in the Morning to discuss the festivities.

Blues Traveler will provide live music at the event, Tony La Russa will serve as grand marshal of the costume parade, and wiener dog races will occur throughout the day.
