Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…THURSDAY…February 5, 2015:

*** Happy Weatherman’s Day…and it is all about that winter feel…partly sunny…breezy in the morning…light winds for the afternoon and very cold…a fast warm up on tap Friday afternoon and especially over the weekend…no big storms in sight***

THURSDAY:

Partly sunny and just plain cold to be out and about
WINDS: North 10-20 M.P.H.
HIGH: 25 DEGREES

THURSDAY NIGHT:

Clear skies and cold
WINDS: North going South 5-10 M.P.H.
LOW: 18 DEGREES

FRIDAY:

Partly sunny…a cold morning…a little warmer in the afternoon…average…but expect gusty winds
WINDS: South 10-25 M.P.H.
HIGH: 42 DEGREES

Much warmer over the weekend

THE WEATHER DISCO:

The fast northwest flow…locked in place…resulting in see-saw temperatures…all about the arctic blast in play all day today…the winds will quickly fade…just cold to be outside from start to finish…bundle up…then the southerly flow takes over Friday afternoon…starting a new warm up… back to average temps Friday afternoon and it looks like a very windy day…then much warmer for the weekend…Saturday…the warmest…still pleasant for winter on Sunday but temperatures will be slowly dropping in the afternoon…then more cold for Sunday night and Monday…no big storms in sight right now.
