Gunman accused of killing St. Peters man in custody after high speed chase

ST. JOSEPH, MO (KTVI)- A gunman accused of killing a St. Peters, Missouri man is in custody this morning in northwest Missouri. Police say Michael Burkman was caught after crashing his truck in a high speed chase on Interstate 29 near St. Joseph. Burkman is facing charges in the death of John Fowler.

Fowler was found shot to death last Sunday in Wayne County in southeast Missouri.
