Protesters demand court reform in Pine Lawn

PINE LAWN, MO (KTVI) - Protestors are outside Pine Lawn's Municipal court  building Thursday night.

Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment is demanding a moratorium  on the issuance of bench warrants for failure to appear in municipal court. The group also wants to eliminate jail time for non-violent municipal offenses and wants the option of community service to pay off some fines.
